My knowledge of things hasn’t changed drastically in the recent few months. Except for the fact that i have cleared the PMP certification a few months back. And ever since, i keep getting job calls and offers.
I surely know that PMP doesn’t make you a better manager! A project manager is supposed to spend most time communicating and rest in team management and PMP doesn’t teach you both. These are extremely varied skills that cannot be assessed by an exam. And yet the industry seems to be seeing that as a recognition of something, which is not what it takes to successfully deliver projects. Just thoughts.
