the best part i liked was the timer and the to-do’s! maps direction is also wonderful. good going!

but overall, its a cool browser to have on your system, since most of the features are mere firefox extensions, it may well not jump into the big league anytime soon, but if you are the kind who uses a lot of desktop apps like calc / calen/ etc.. it may well be a great idea.

Looks like this is a local issue. Go to google.com if you are signed up into their network already on the top right your name should be there. Sign out first.

Then clear the cache and the problem should be sorted.

Alternatively, empty browser cache. Close the browser and open again and sign in, it should work! Let me know if it worked!

Google’s new Google Squared initiative is probably a little short of Wolframalpha if you test for some famous phrases like ‘Ht of mt Everest’ and so on! Wolfram Alpha information is more organised. But considering the zillions of information Google has already searched and indexed, it is only going tobe sometime before they perfect the art!

After seeing Charlie Wilson’s war movie, i guess we can easily assume that the decision to supply weapons sometimes far out weighs the decision to not to!

But leaving behind a mess as in most cases! why not think of smart weapons that expire at the end of lets say x days or so. So that you can be absolutely sure that the weapons will not be used out of purpose!

That can also help the weapon suppliers to come clear! Can avoid weaponisation mistake of the Talibans or for that matter even Iraq as the case was.

In the last few days was working on the blog of one of my friends, he has been a blogger for sometime but uses Godaddy’s free blogging platform that comes along with the domain. Invited him to join the wordpress spoilsports club!

Now we had this problem, we had difficulty importing from Quick Blog to wordpress. Since the structure resembled Movable we used that as a format. But somehow the published stories show up in the dashboard but not on the site. Moreover, the comments were pretty nested.

Figured out this seems to be the problem. The exported file has the status of live stories as Published instaed of the desired Publish.

So the process is simple:

Export your content from Godaddy’s Quick Blogcast – make sure to check the boxes for entries, comments, etc. Download this file to a convenient location.

Open the file in a text editor that has a Find and Replace function. Use this to find “STATUS: Published” and replace it with “STATUS: Publish”.

Import into WordPress using the Movable Type / Typepad setting.

Welcome to WordPress.

This worked for me and should most likely for you, have any problems let me know.
