Reading today’s Hindu , it was good to finally see that, Auto Drivers would genuinely be happy Permit is no longer restricted by numbers! Great decision by the Transport Minister. On the way back from office stopped by next to the familiar auto stand in in Velachery.

There was a sense of smearing dis-satisfaction, and it was more due to the delay of such an implementation! in fact what karthik sir said was that he had paid almost 1.2 lakhs  almost the cost of a new auto. he wished he had invested it in a new auto and doubled his investments. but he was happy that finally they have implemented it.

but beware,  only the new auto drivers can afford to drive at lower prices and not the old ones who are still running on old permits! great we are removing the restrictions! wonder how far the Cubans with their hair dressers have to!
