We had been given an appointment almost a week in advance. I along with my work mentor Mr Balchand reached the office at 5:30 only to realize that the appointment was actually scheduled for 5 (guess some mis-understanding)and he had apparently already called his reception to check if we had come.

For those who don’t know him, Dr Santhosh Babu is the Managing Director of ELCOT & also the Director & CEO of Tamilnadu eGovernance Agency.

We were made to wait in his room in the rear seats, when he was still talking and sharing about his Theni/Vellore dist. experience. Then we started our talk.

It was surprising to see such an energetic man in the Govt. Would make you wonder, why is our city in this state still now. He was sharing about the achievements of ELCOT and some of his insights.

If blackberry was any sign of ‘C suite’ executives having to keep up with multiple schedules! the man has 2! The man has got the attitude of Elizabeth – II, when it comes to belief system! guess that’s what makes him what he is!

Anyways: He agreed to join in the meetings when Mr Penelosa comes to town!
