The Irony of Nuclear Moral Policing

I don’t like Iran, but not in the hate sense, just that i don’t care enough to like it. For that matter i would have the same view about the US as well.

In the backdrop of Obama receiving the Noble peace prize, and Iran accepting for IAEA inspection on October 25, 2009, the reaction of US post the declaration which is most likely to be a negative find would be interesting. Obama’s recent rhetorical declaration of ‘US knew this for long’ reminds me of the dramatic presentation Kennedy gave to the then UN Secretary General U Thant of the missile assembling plans of USSR in Cuba giving Nikita Khrushchev a checkmate!

But we live in a changed multi-polar world atleast as things would point to after the recession! In having said all of the above, one point that fails to attract press is the fact that ‘Why is the only nation that used Nuclear weapons against another country (Hiroshima and Nagasakhi) playing the international nuclear policeman’s role which it clearly has the inability to’?
