A learned HR friend of mine recently sent a forward and i am sure a lot of us would have got something like that whcih said ‘What not to do’ during a recession time at work.

And one of the first thing that it said was ‘Don’t question the Boss’, the forward went on to say many things but the basic point that was repeated all over was that, don’t care about surroundings and just accept things as they are!

Well it almost got me into a shock! Is not the current global credit crunch a consequence of the so many people just accepting that their Bosses are right? I think we still have not taken the lesson!

My friend of course meant it in a good personal sense, but in the process of trying to save  a few jobs, we never realise the cascading failure system that we are promoting.

Guys if your Boss is wrong, raise the issue! That makes sense even for yourself in the long run.
