Over the years the Liberalists’ and health groups have lobbied to have the Church endorse the use of condoms to reduce AIDS with the view that the Church reaches out to the conservatives!

Some reading the post would argue that the Pope’s view was that Condoms do not reduce the incidence of AIDS, but the larger debate is why should the church reduce its standard for the becoming of a society!

I agree with the liberalists, when we see so many children who get affected by the disease for no act of their own. But lets leave church standards independent of the social standards. Else we end up modifying the moral code to the point that it merely would end up reflecting our conveniences than the truth!
