So gmail has changed its favicon! For those of you who you are not familiar with what favicon is, it is the little graphic thats before the web address on your address bar.

Unlike Google designs which are generally synonymous with functionality and lightness over design aesthetics (evident from orkut design) the new favicon is more a symmetry seeking one! Not something google’ish  you can say!
