Respect of knowledge and the primary blocks of society
Great is a nation that respects its Teachers and Farmers. For in it, reflects the sign of a nation that has risen over the temporary illusion that masks our materialistic and capitalistic societies. Teachers build nations, and the sooner we realise that, the better for us. Not everybody who does engineering ends up inventing something. Its the inspiration that the student gains from his teacher that makes him think! and persevere and dwell upon his ideas, and yet years later the teacher is left in the murks, lonely and deserted! Are we to blame the individual? To some extent yes, but should not the system be rewarding its building blocks of knowledge even better. Should not teachers be treated as Grade A employees? Its after all all to their credit that we have some many acheivers in today’s world. And so is the need to recognise the farmers. Its they who make our nation fundamentally stronger and self reliant. India did without IT for years, but never without agriculture. Our GDP has risen above 7% even ehen It was relatively non-existent. But never has it been the case when the monsoons have failed our agricultural produce. Does this not justify the need to lay more importance in policies for pro-agricultural policies?
